Christian Texts Available Online

This list is intended to provide a representative sample of texts (past and present) from different Christian traditions. It is not complete or exhaustive. It will be periodically updated; suggestions for additions to (or deletions from) this list may be sent to the Director. If you are looking for a specific text or a text on a specific topic, whether online or in print, please contact our staff or visit the library.

*Mormon texts are included because that tradition identifies as Christian, though some other traditions reject them as such.

**Unitarian texts are included because of the historical development of that tradition from Christianity.

Lectionary Resources

Commentaries on the Revised Common Lectionary Comments are designed as brief commentaries on the readings from the Revised Common Lectionary suitable for any adult who wants to understand the lessons for the week. Each lesson has a brief commentary, with a link to the biblical text, and a brief outline of the whole biblical book.
Lectionary Texts (Revised Common Lectionary) beautifully illustrated for reference and reflection.
Text This Week presents the Revised Common Lectionary and includes study and liturgy resources as well as a concordance for art works and movies that relate to the texts.
